I’ve always thought that it would be possible to transmit energy (electricity) wirelessly. An article http://www.space.com/businesstechnology/technology/solar_power_sats_011017-1.html says “wireless power transmission tests on Earth is progressing”. Image a day when your cellular phone uses the trasmitted signal as power. No more dead phones. No more heavy batteries. I image a small battery, like those in a watch to power while “listening”. Or even better, use the solar power alternative that are in some watches for that purpose. Oh, the possibilites!
